As Seen On

We reviewed fourteen (14) books this month and founds a few outstanding stories. We all loved Night Broken and gushed all about it in our group review.  AH found a sexy troll in Stolen Songbird and Christal covets the church griffin from Half-Off Ragnarok.  DG highly recommends the audio of Murder of Crows and new reviewer Wendy fell head over heels for Fangirl. Features and Memes:

Our Steals & Deals feature continued into March with some of the lowest prices on quality Amazon Kindle books we came across. We also have our monthly new release spotlight coming up on April 1st so get your TBR lists ready!  We introduced two new features this month, Genre Junkies and Should I Read This Series?.  Christal kicked off the Genre Junkies feature with an introduction to steam punk and a list of our ten favorite steam punk reads.  DG’s introductory series for Should I Read This Series? was Barry Eisler’s John Rain books.

For our memes, we jumbled into urban fantasy with J.D. Horn’s The Line in the March installment of our Jumble Your Genres Reading Challenge.

March’s Featured Author Friday showcased the lovely contemporary romance stylings of Shannon Richard and featured a signed copy giveaway!  Regina conducted a fanastic Q&A Interview with Patricia Briggs about her newest release in the Mercy Thompson series, Night Broken.

We also participated in two different blog tours this month. We hosted M. Leighton for her Some Like It Wild Blog Tour and we participated in the Blog Tour for Mike Mullin’s final novel in the Ashfall series, Sunrise.

ChristalHi everyone, I’m Christal. I am married to a wonderful guy and work in the education field. Reading is my preferred hobby and I never leave home without a book or my e-reader. I will read any book that catches my eye, but my favorite genres are urban fantasy, paranormal romance, fantasy, steam punk, historical fiction, and dystopian/post apocalyptic.
