Best of 2012: Post-Apocalyptic/Dystopia, Literary Fiction, New Series

Ashen Winter by Mike Mullin –D.G.: This is among the best second book in a trilogy I’ve ever read. It’s clear that Mr. Mullin really knew where he was going because this book was so exciting and action packed that I had my heart in my mouth for like 20 chapters straight. Alif the Unseen by G. Willow Wilson –Regina:  I have never read a book like Alif the Unseen before.  The fantasy and the cultural elements were so new to me and really done.  If you haven’t read it, you should give it a try.
