I’ve discovered some fantastic books with this feature, and I’m excited to see what the next half of the year of Sarah Dessen brings! This Lullaby by Sarah [ Read More of this Review ]

On the Hunt | Tracking an Epic Romance

Isn’t there no better feeling than finding a book that’s like magic in your hands.  A story that, from page one, sucks you in and holds you hostage.  One that when you get to the end and you can feel your heart squeezing, and your soul aching, and you just clutch the book to your chest because you know that physically putting it down would be like ripping off the toughest of band-aids. I’ve felt that way about only a handful of books and the sad fact is that, despite rereads, I’ll never get that initial feeling again.  There is literally [ Read More of this Review ]

Review Hodgepodge (#6)

Well, this is me, so as usual, I picked up one M/M book fully prepared to move on to something else when I was done. That rarely happens, and it sure as heck didn’t happen this time. I don’t know what it is about the genre (sub-genre?) that grips me. Once I’m in, it’s hard to find my way out. I find M/M to be brimming with emotions that don’t feel forced and filled with angst that is beautifully done. I found some really good (and funny) reads with this bunch. And one full-on bust. 🙁 Adulting 101 by Lisa [ Read More of this Review ]

Review Hodgepodge (#5)

As you can see from my reviews below, I had some really good reads this month from historical romance. Again, it was contemporary romance that was lacking for me. (Insert heavy sigh here.)
