Review: Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh

Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh Book 3 of the Psy-Changeling series Book Purchased from Book Depository   AH’s Review – 4 Stars B+ I’m beginning to see the appeal of Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series. Three books in and I am hooked. It’s like crack for paranormal romance junkies. With each book I read, I fall in love with the lead characters and I want more. I need more. So much happens in this book. There’s a killer on the loose, a rebellion brewing, a power hungry Psy Council, and of course, a love story with an unlikely pairing. The world building [ Read More of this Review ]

Review: Angel's Blood by Nalini Singh

Angel’s Blood by Nalini Singh Guild Hunter – Book 1 Book purchased from Borders     AH’s Review – 5 Stars – A Why didn’t I read these books sooner? I was very excited to be starting off the Guild Hunters series by Nalini Singh. I enjoy this author’s writing style. Her descriptions evoke images in my mind and it felt like I was watching a movie with great cinematography rather than reading a book. Take the example of the Archangel’s Tower. Our heroine Elena has a townhouse with a view of the Archangel’s Tower. She can watch the [ Read More of this Review ]

Lord of the Abyss by Nalini Singh Received via Netgalley Erika’s Review Grade: A Favorite Quote: “I don’t normally Cry.” “You will never do it.” “Well, I’m afraid I may sometimes,” she said apologetically. “Women need to cry.” Lines formed between his brows. “How many times in a year?” “Maybe five or six,” she said, thinking about it. “But really, it’s usually a very small cry, and not in front of anyone.” … “I will permit you to cry four times a year. Hot Read of the Week ~ Lord of the Abyss by Nalini Singh

** Spoiler Free ** I just finished reading Nalini Singh’s Lord of the Abyss, which is the final book of the Royal House of Shadows collaboration with Gena Showalter, Jessica Anderson, and Jill Monroe. This book was all kinds of hot and awesome. Now it’s not an erotic kind of hot, it’s more of a pure and innocent hot. Micah–our hero, and Lily–our heroine, are both Virgins. Yup, really they were, and the sexual tension is sizzling, and when the deets get rolling, it was uber hot. Badass will be posting reviews of Lord of the Abyss Soon, I promise. Review: Archangel's Blade by Nalini Singh

So, I finished reading Archangel’s Blade, which is Dmitri and Honor’s book. It’s going to be tough writing a review that is spoiler free as the premise of their love is rooted in the old. So, let’s start by talking about Nalini. She has such a seductive style. Her words are lyrical and poetic, descriptive without being too wordy. It’s tough to explain unless you have read any of her previous novels. I, personally, have only read her Guild Hunter series, though I do own the first three Psy-Changeling.  I tried reading those, but I just wasn’t [ Read More of this Review ]
