Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews Book purchased from Book Depository AH’s Review – 4 Skulls – A- The Kate Daniels series is one of Badass Book Reviews favorite series. I thought I would try something different with this review. I had a lot of thoughts to organize and I thought it best just to note them in a kind of point form. AH’s Initial Thoughts – Honestly, I never really thought a lot about Andrea when I was reading the Kate Daniels books. Maybe I’m just a bad fan, but she never really made that much of an impression on [ Read More of this Review ]

Fate’s Edge by Ilona Andrews Edge Series #3 I purchased this novel for my kindle on Amazon Erika’s Review Grade: A How on earth to start this review… I could start by saying that I think Ilona Andrews writes SUPERB Worlds and Characters. I could say that Ilona Andrews writes witty and funny dialogue, which doesn’t feel forced or cheesy. (Unless they want it to, of course) But if I said all those things, what would I tell [ Read More of this Review ]

I received an ARC copy of Silver Shark from Ilona Andrews and also purchased a copy. Erika’s Review Grade: B+ You know what? I totally loved this book and devoured it in one sitting. I am a fan girl, you know that right? But still,I call it like I see it, and I don’t have an issue saying when I don’t like something. Even from a favorite author. But I really enjoyed Silver Shark. Except for one thing. I’ll get to that in a minute. Claire Shannon is a powerful psycher, and can obliterate you with her [ Read More of this Review ]

So far I’ve only read Magic Dreams, by Ilona Andrews, and that’s because I read the Magic Series faithfully. I will probably read the Anna Strong novella, as I’ve read most of the books, but the others I could give or take. I tried getting into Yasmine Galenorn’s series, but I just couldn’t. Jim and Dali were fantastic. I love Dali so much. Her insecurities made her all the more endearing, and relate-able for me personally. I’ve always had a thing for Mr. Tall, Dark and Scary Jim, and I loved his explanation for not acting [ Read More of this Review ]

I was a lucky Reader and won an ARC of Magic Bleeds, which is Kate Daniels series book 4, which comes out May 25, 2010 For over a month I have been writing and re-writing my review of Magic bleeds in my head. Last night as I was trying to sleep, I had the perfect review written, it was unfolding beautifully, words dancing around in my head with little effort. I should have gotten up to write it then, instead of waiting until it disappeared… Pregnancy insomnia at its finest, leaving you unable to sleep, but also, reluctant [ Read More of this Review ]
