Moira Rogers is here! Moira Rogers is here! SQUEE!! I cannot wait for Cipher which comes out September 6th. Finally, I can find out what happens with Kat and Andrew. Watching those two was so heartbreaking sometimes–and aggravating.
So, for those of you not familiar with the writing duo, how do you make up Moira Rogers?
Take a former forensic science and nursing student obsessed with paranormal romance and add a computer programmer with a passion for gritty urban fantasy. Toss in a dash of whimsy and a lot of caffeine, and enjoy with a side of chocolate by the light of the full moon.
By day, Bree and Donna are mild-mannered ladies who reside in the Deep South. At night, when their husbands and children are asleep, they combine forces to unleash the product of their fevered imaginations upon the page. (Disclaimer: crime fighting abilities may appear only in the aforementioned fevered imaginations.)

Welcome, Welcome and thanks for participating in my 30th birthday bash! Let’s get on with the fun shall we? Let’s start with some party flavored questions… are you ready?
Here you go! (We both answered!)
1) What was your fondest birthday memory
Bree: When my husband & Donna arranged a surprise birthday party for me and actually managed to surprise me. That is mostly thanks to Donna.
Donna: I kinda like hanging in Los Angeles for Bree’s 21st birthday. I bought her a tattoo!
2) Your standing at the bar of my party, what do you order?
Bree: Probably Pepsi Max. I’m so boring.
Donna: A madras. Or maybe a Midori sour.
3) You can choose one person in any genre (fictional, or hell, actors) to throw down and make hot sweaty love to–Who is it?
Bree: Helo from Battlestar Galactica is my one great TV love. I’ll never love another.
Donna: Oh man, um. Hmm. OH OH. Stu Redman from The Stand by Stephen King. I love me some tough but tender Texas men.
4) What is your favorite TV Show?
Bree: …Battlestar Galactica? LOL I like Leverage, too.
Donna: The only thing I’ve been watching with any regularity lately is Celebrity Ghost Stories on the Biography Channel.
5) You and your best friend wake up after a huge party–in jail. What are the first 5 words out of your mouth?
Bree: “Dude, Donna, what the fuck?”
Donna: “Uh-uh, I didn’t do it!”

A little bit about the Southern Arcana Series:
The Southern Arcana books are novel-length paranormal romance set in a contemporary world where shapeshifters, psychics and spell casters of all sorts live secret lives beneath the radar. The paranormal world of Southern Arcana is not always a pretty place, so the books contain their share of violence and death, but if you make it through to the other side you’ll always find a happy ending.
The books are published through Samhain Publishing, which means they’re released first as ebooks and then ten months later in print editions. Samhain ebooks are multi-format and can be purchased at multiple places without DRM, so you never have to worry about losing your copy! If you have any questions about current or upcoming releases, drop a note using the site’s contact form! My favorite Moira Rogers character is Alec from the Southern Arcana series. He is so strong but so in love with his dead wife. I am just about to begin Deadkock and hopefully see him have a HEA ending.
Loved the interview…Helo…yes! I am a diehard Battlestar Galatic fan too.
I LOVE this series! I really need to win this
I'm so excited to see most of these interviews and posts are from authors I haven't read yet. Makes me seem kind-of lame but I love getting to learn about authors I haven't read yet. Gives me lots of good books to add to my to-read list. Here's hoping I win this one so I can get a start on them
Can I just say boy does she know how to celebrate birthdays or what!!
Moira Rogers books are good books. I am happy to hear they have a new one coming out soon. Would even be more happy to win it here
I don't think Cipher is on the table for winning, sadly
Mwah! But any one of their backlisted books
I have only read Crossroads so far and my favorite character was Nicole. I recently got Deadlock and am just starting it for the upcoming discussion, but still want to read Crux. I am enjoying the series immensely. Thank you for sharing the birthday fun and allowing me to join in
I haven't had the pleasure yet of reading any books by Moira Rogers, so I cannot answer the question. But I'd love to win a book!
